Good afternoon everyone. I’m currently reviewing retirement income options and trying to decide where to open a Life Income Fund (LIF). I recently transferred out of my employer’s pension plan and now need a place that offers decent flexibility and solid long-term management.
A few financial institutions I contacted either had unclear fees or didn’t explain the withdrawal rules very well. Since this is money I’ll be relying on during retirement, I’d rather deal with an organization that actually takes the time to help clients understand the process.
If anyone here has personal experience with a trustworthy LIF provider in Canada, I’d be glad to hear your suggestions.
