My Experience with Gabapentin: Successes and Chall

Gabapentin has been a mixed bag for me. The good about it is that it helped a great deal in controlling my nerve pains, especially during flare-ups making it much easier to get on with my daily schedules. It also assisted me in getting some sleep which was a great relief. But there have been challenges too. I experienced side effects such as dizziness and lethargy, which at times made it difficult to concentrate. It was also difficult to get the right adjustment of the medication because while excess amounts made me feel groggy, lesser amounts did not work. Generally, it has been useful in controlling my pain but it has taken time and effort to work with my doctor towards achieving the acceptable level of use.
