How long until ivermectin starts to work?

Ivermectin Iverheal 12mg is a medication used to treat various parasitic infections, including scabies, lice, and certain types of worms. The time it takes for ivermectin to show results depends on the condition being treated and the individual’s health.

For conditions like scabies or head lice, ivermectin typically starts working within 24 to 48 hours after the first dose. However, the full effect may not be visible immediately. For scabies, you may notice a reduction in itching and rashes within a few days, but it may take up to two weeks for the skin to fully heal as the body eliminates the parasites.

In cases of intestinal worm infections, the effects of ivermectin may take longer to show. You might begin to see improvements in symptoms, such as reduced abdominal pain or discomfort, within a few days. However, it may take weeks for the parasites to be completely cleared from the body, depending on the severity of the infection.
