How Long Has Vidalista 10 Mg Been On The Market?

The active ingredient in Vidalista 10 mg tadalafil was first approved for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in humans in 2003 under the brand name Cialis. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted Cialis approval on November 21, 2003, making tadalafil available for use in treating ED from that time onward.

Once the patent protection for Cialis expired in various regions (beginning in the mid‑2010s), generic versions of tadalafil began entering markets around the world, including formulations like Vidalista in different strengths such as Vidalista 10 mg. These generics became widely available as more manufacturers produced tadalafil tablets after the original patent expired. Generic tadalafil including Vidalista has thus been used for many years since the patent expiration, often marketed and sold particularly in India, Europe, and other regions where generic competition is permitted.

In total, tadalafil as a medication has been on the market for over two decades, with generic forms like Vidalista 10 mg available for several years since the original brand entered the market in 2003 and patents expired later.
